Line 24 standard (2-1\/2-inch) muffin pan cups with paper  liners or spray with nonstick cooking spray.<\/li>\n<li>Beat cake mix, pumpkin, water, eggs, oil, cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed 3 minutes or until well blended.<\/li>\n<li>Spoon batter into each muffin cup. Bake about 20 minutes or until toothpicks inserted into centers come out clean. Cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove cupcakes to wire racks; cool completely.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"line\">I frosted the cupcakes with cream cheese icing which I&#8217;d colored purple.<\/p>\n<div class=\"line\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/cupcakes2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium 300px) 100vw, 300px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"line\">\n<p>To make the spiderwebs:<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line\">\n<p>1.\u00a0 Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips and transfer the chocolate to a piping bag.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line\">\n<p>2.\u00a0 Pipe a spiral of chocolate from the center of the cupcake out to the edge.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line\">\n<p>3.\u00a0 Use a toothpick to drag a few evenly spaced lines from the center to the edge of the cupcake.\u00a0 Tada!<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line\">\n<p>I found a recipe that used black gumdrops to make the spiders, but I wasn&#8217;t too thrilled with that idea.\u00a0 I decided to use whoppers as the spider body and then make little legs from molding chocolate, like almond bark.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/legs.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" 300px) 100vw, 300px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"line\">\n<p>To make the spider legs:<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line\">\n<p>1.\u00a0 Melt the chocolate according to the package directions.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line\">\n<p>2.\u00a0 Transfer to a piping bag or plastic bag with a SMALL corner cut off.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line\">\n<p>3.\u00a0 Pipe legs onto parchment paper and let dry.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line\">\n<p>Tip:\u00a0 Make more legs than you need as they will break easily.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line\"><a \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"line\">\n<p>To assemble the cupcakes:<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line\">\n<p>1.\u00a0 Place one whopper on the top of the cupcake.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line\">\n<p>2.\u00a0 Arrange 8 legs, 4 on each side of the whopper pressing slightly into the icing.<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"wp_fb_like_button\" style=\"margin:5px
