guacamole with toasted ciabatta bread and crudit\u00e9s.\u00a0 I served the guacamole with plain tortilla chips and some spicy flax seed chips that I found at World Market.\u00a0 I think they&#8217;re called Sweet and Spicy Flax Seed Chips.\u00a0 If you see them, you should try a bag.\u00a0 I really liked how they tasted more substantial than a normal chip and had that great sweet and spicy combination.<\/p>\n<p>I also bought a jar of roasted salsa from World Market.\u00a0 It packed quite a punch in the heat department, but wasn&#8217;t unbearable.\u00a0 We used some of it the next morning in our migas.<\/p>\n<p>The guacamole was definitely different than your everyday avocado, cilantro, tomato, jalapeno, onion and lime\u00a0guacamole.\u00a0 The basil is detectable, as are the shallot and lemon\u00a0juice.\u00a0 The flavors are perfect\u00a0together and I really enjoyed it.\u00a0 I think it would be really tasty on the toasted ciabatta as the recipe suggested.\u00a0 Next time I will try it that way, or maybe with plain pita chips.\u00a0 Yum.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/basilguac.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3948\" title=\"basilguac\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/basilguac.jpg?resize=375%2C249\" alt=\"\" width=\"375\" height=\"249\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/basilguac.jpg?w=375 375w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/basilguac.jpg?resize=300%2C199 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/basilguac.jpg?resize=150%2C99 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h6>Basil Guacamole<\/h6>\n<p>Ingredients<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 medium avocados, halved, pitted, peeled, diced<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup chopped fresh basil plus leaves for garnish<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup finely chopped shallots<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Directions<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Place avocados in large bowl;
