January in Texas
I sometimes complain about Houston weather. It’s nothing like Amarillo. Houston will never see snow like Amarillo sees snow, and I will miss that about the Panhandle. And even though Amarillo had days last week with temps in the 70’s, Houston sees much more of that kind of weather in the winter months. So with a boy who would live outside if he could, I am thankful that Houston provides us with ample outdoor time. Now, come July I’ll be complaining about how we can’t step outside thanks to the heat and humidity.
