I don’t have a picture from today, but I have a good reason why.
Lindsey and the boys got in last night. We tried to let them all sleep together in Carson’s room, but after many attempts and failures of getting them to sleep Lindsey moved Lane into her room. Beckett and Carson stayed in the bunks, but I don’t think Carson slept very well. Beckett wasn’t feeling too great this morning, so Lindsey ended up taking him to urgent care with Lane while Carson, Betsy and I went to get some food for the party at Sam’s. The doctor said Beckett might have a virus, but no strep throat, which is what Lindsey thought it might be. So we thought all was well.
When we all got back to the house we decided to get some chick fil a for lunch. Lindsey took Carson and Beckett. When they got back Beckett threw up in the living room. He spent most of the rest of the day in bed. We felt so bad for the little guy. At one point he said to Lindsey, “Mommy, I just wanna have fun.” It kinda breaks your heart!
By the end of the day he’d eaten some saltines and drank some gatorade, and he kept it all down! And no one else had gotten sick.
I was a mess today after the vomiting. Everything set me off and I said more than once that I’d like to punch someone in the face (Ginger and Carson included, which I’m pretty sure makes me a bad person). It’s just a little unsettling, especially when you’re going to have a house of people the next day, to not be sure who’s going to get sick next and where they’re going to get sick and how hard that place is going to be to clean. Thankfully Lindsey was calm about it and helped disinfect everything.

Is it far enough away that I can laugh about it yet? Because, hahaha, this post was funny!! Especially the face punching part. I love imaginary face punching.
Kate, it is definitely not too early to laugh about it! Sometimes that is all you can do. However, if Betsy or Carson had gotten sick I’d need another couple of days for it to be funny :)
