Monday: Ben found out last week that a good friend of his from college had passed away.  His memorial service was today in Houston.  Carrie kept Betsy so that Ben I could both go.  Quite a few of the people Ben worked with at camp Recloud were there.

Tuesday:  This morning I got the opportunity to “model” some maternity clothes on a local morning news program, Great Day Houston.  It was a fun experience, except for the hour and 20 minutes it took me to get there.  Thanks to Suzanne for keeping the kids :)

Wednesday:  Betsy and I met up with Shallan for lunch before going to my doctor’s appointment and then picking Carson up from school.

Thursday:  Today we ran a few errands close to Ben’s office, so we headed over there after we finished.  Unfortunately he was too busy to have lunch with us, but we were able to say hello.

Friday:  It was cold and rainy today, so we stayed home.  On days like this I am reminded of why I try to get out at least once a day when we can.  Everyone gets a little grumpy and crazy when we’re cooped up.  We did get out to bring dinner to a family who just had a baby.  One of their older kids sat with Carson and Betsy in the car so that I could visit and meet the sweet baby girl.

Saturday:  I recently read about a pop-up bakery at a restaurant in Houston called Triniti.  We met up with the Hartmans and the Gilberts there for breakfast.  It was delicious and I’m already planning to go again in 2 weeks!  Later today Ben went on a 6 mile run and I took a nap.

Sunday:  We went to church this morning, then lunch with friends, then home for naps.  Ben went on a 4 mile run and I took a nap.  Then we went to the Hartmans for dinner.  It was a really fun, although not too productive, weekend.
