Monday was a holiday, so we got a free day with daddy! We tried to go to Chuy’s for dinner (one just opened here in Sugar Land) but at 4:45 there was an hour wait to we went somewhere else. We had a rough start but overall it was good.
Tuesday Ben went in to work for a while and Carson had his first day of school. He did a great job and didn’t even look back when I dropped him off.
On Wednesday we went to the science museum, then to lunch. Both Carson and Betsy fell asleep on the way home.
Carson had school again Thursday. Before school Carson hung out with Christopher. I worked on a cake for Betsy’s birthday this afternoon.
Friday was Betsy’s birthday! I got up and bought her a big balloon. When I got home I started on pancakes and bacon for breakfast. Carson helped me. Betty sent her some money with a card, so we went to Toys R Us and let her pick out a toy. She chose a Care Bear and a feather boa :) We got lunch, then had cake and gave her the dollhouse! It was a really fun day and I’m so glad Ben was home to celebrate with us.
Ben went to the Aggie game with Scott on Saturday. The kids and I ordered pizza and I watched the game.
On Sunday we went to church, went to Five Guys for lunch and went to our first community group of the year for dinner that night.
