I apologize in advance for the overload of pictures this week. In the process of going through them I smiled almost the entire time. I love these kids. We have hard days where I want to pour myself a glass of wine at noon. I don’t, by the way. I always wait until 5! But they are so much fun that the good always outweighs the bad. I love watching them change and learn things and grow and say and do silly things. I especially like the way Carson and Betsy are interacting more, except for the ear piercing screams. I could do without those. I know all moms probably say this, but I really am blessed by these kids.
We did a lot this week.
I snapped these of Betsy and her babies on Monday.
Tuesday lunch with friends after I picked Carson up from school.
Wednesday lunch with Carrie, Shallan and Jean. While there Ben called and said he was coming home early! After the kids took naps he took the older ones on a bike ride and we all ate dinner together. We hung out outside for a while after dinner.
On Thursday Christopher had his 4 month check up. I met up with Carrie for a little shopping at Trader Joe’s, then we went to the appointment and then we went to lunch.
Friday we went to a trunk-or-treat. The kids looked adorable, but neither was really in to it. Carson is still too timid to ask strangers for candy :)
Saturday we went to the Hartmans for lunch and to work on some projects for Carson’s pirate party.
The older kids skipped naps today and so this is what they looked like heading home. It was a good day.
On Sunday I took the kids to a pumpkin patch to get a pumpkin to carve. It was a lovely day. Ben had Christopher out on a run, so I got to spend some time with just the big kids. It was really fun. I posted the pictures in a separate post here.
