In my haste to get these posts up I’ve been leaving out the mundane details of the day that I’d included the last time I did this project, which is probably better.
No one truly cares how many diapers I changed or who had a poop, or how many loads of laundry I did, how many packages of fruit snacks I let the kids eat to keep them from rioting or how much TV time we had. And I don’t want to share some of those details anyway!
But just a little on our week. Ben has been gone since Tuesday morning and will get back after the kids have gone to bed Friday. The hours he’s not here are pretty minimal since he’d be at work most of the waking hours of the day anyway. But it is still hard to not have him around. He plays a big part in our day even though it’s just a few hours in the evening. Thankfully we’ve survived each other and will all be very glad when Ben gets home!
On an unrelated note, I tried to put Christopher’s hair in a man bun today. He immediately tried to pull it out.
And Carson and Betsy are loving the new Playmobil set that we scored for $8 at Home Goods! I love seeing how they put scenes together. There’s always a lot going on with some pretty elaborate story lines.
