Me and my girl.
After dance this morning we drove to Hico and it was a surprisingly easy trip. We stopped in Waco for a coffee and snacks. I figured after that they’d fall asleep for the last hour. I turned on Serial, the episode of first season, that I’ve been told is quite good but haven’t gotten a chance to listen to. Again, I think they’re going to fall asleep with no movie on and no kid music. The first episode they talk about the girl who was murdered and how she was found in a “shallow grave”. And I hear Carson, who I think is falling asleep, say “Mom, what’s a shallow grave?” So I turned off Serial and no one took a nap. But we got to Hico happy, rode atvs, make s’mores, hung out with mom, dad, Sarah and Lane and had a great time.
