Tomorrow we leave for our 2nd annual Zinnecker vacation to Carpinteria! Prepping and packing for myself and 3 little people isn’t easy, guys! But having done this trip once before I feel better prepared for what we will and will not need. And the kids being a year older makes things easier, too. Both the big kids can pull their own suitcase, and there’s less baby stuff to pack for Christopher.
Today was full of errand running. Drop the dog at the boarder, last minute Target trip, grabbing my glasses from the optometrist, meeting Ben at the car place so he could have it looked at while we’re gone. We ate Chick-fil-A in the parked car which all the kids thought was incredibly cool. After that we spontaneously decided to buy a leap pad for the kids for the trip. It has proven to be quite the toy and everyone wants it all the time :)
The kids have gone to the optometrist with me a couple of times and they all run straight for the fish tank when we get there and cry when we have to leave. I both love and hate the fish tank.
