Betsy has had little spots of eczema before, but they’ve gone away after a week or so. This time they didn’t. I made an appointment for her this morning and to Bellaire we went to discover that she not only had a bade eczema breakout but poison ivy as well. Fun times at our house! So now we’re switching her over to dye and fragrance free soaps and such and now I’m extra worried about the situation on our yard and feel like I should just keep everyone inside forever. Avoid all plants!
I also broke the news to our pediatrician who we ADORE that we’ve decided to go to someone closer. The half hour (or more) drive is just getting a little rough with the busier schedule. Dr. Julie Schlegel, we will miss you terribly! If you live in Houston or know someone who needs a pediatrician here, go see her. She is just the best.
