This day began very calmly, with plenty of time to get everything ready for Betsy’s party at 5 that afternoon. We went to the farmer’s market, then stopped by Target, then grabbed some CFA for lunch, kids down for naps around 1. By 3 I was in freak out mode. It rained before the party, only adding to the mud puddle that is our backyard. So everyone (I think at least 12 kids and more than 15 adults) was in our house and things were definitely loud and crazy. Everyone was gone by 6:30 or so and I think it was the fastest hour and a half of my life. BUT it was fun! I only took pictures on my camera and haven’t had the time to get them ready to post. Thankful for Emilie who took this one and sent it to me :)
Thanks also to my parents and to Sarah who helped immensely today. I do not deserve my family. They’re the best.
