Today we had Betsy’s 4 year well check with our new pediatrician. I am SO glad my mom was here! They did an eye and hearing exam and I would not have been able to handle Christopher while trying to help Betsy. Thanks again to you, mom!
Betsy’s vision is not quite as good as it should be, so we’ll be seeing an ophthalmologist in a few weeks to see what’s going on there and if she’ll need glasses now. She, and all our kids most likely, will need glasses at some point since I am almost legally blind without contacts or glasses, and Ben also wears contacts although I am hopeful they will get his vision since it’s not as terrible as mine. I think she’ll look pretty cute if she does end up needing them!
After the appointment (where Betsy got three shots and kicked the nurse) we went to lunch at Torchy’s and then to spend some of Betsy’s birthday money on her new favorite toy…shopkins! Adorable little toys, but so tiny I am certain many will be lost in the next 3-4 weeks.
