Tonight I had a parent meeting at Carson’s school. Avery came to babysit. I got home around 7:30 and they were having so much fun. So much fun in fact that NO ONE was listening to me and all hell broke loose after she left. It was time for a bath, which I thought would calm them down and that worked for the younger two, but Carson threw the biggest tantrum I have ever experienced. I got Christopher to bed easily and then Carson to bed, literally kicking and screaming. I poured myself a glass of wine.
Then Betsy and I stayed up for a little while playing shopkins and taking selfies. Writing this is making me relive the night a bit and I’m getting all stressed just thinking about it! School, not enough rest, and not enough dad time is taking its toll on Carson. Looking forward to things normalizing for us soon!
