After we dropped Carson off at school we went to get donuts.  Yes, Christopher’s has a twinkie in the middle decorated like a minion so of course that is the one he wanted. And then to HEB.  

Christopher wore a shirt that was Ben’s when he was young for school pictures today.

Went to the park with friends today. Also spent some time watching how the sequins on Betsy’s shirt reflected light in the living room.  Christopher was pretty persistent in trying to catch some of the sparkles.

Carson picked out his Halloween costume today!  He was much more excited about the weapons than the ninja costume itself.  

The weather was cool and beautiful this morning.  We jogged to the park by Carson’s school, played for a while then went back home.

State Fair time!  Rides, face painting, corn dogs, turkey legs, cotton candy, goats, pigs, cows, tractors, cars, etc!

This weekend we drove to Dallas to visit the Persherns and go to the fair.  On the way there we hit some tire tread that just about ripped off the bumper liner on the van.  After a stop at Wal-Mart for duct tape, getting stuck in some traffic, another stop to re-tape the bumper we … [Read more…]

I am not even sure how this came about or whose idea it was originally…but we now have a little fairy garden in the backyard.

Sometimes this one is super tired on days she doesn’t get a nap at school.

Ben was gone for a couple days but was home in time to read to Christopher before bed.
