2016

It was a rainy day.  We met Kate at Regents, had lunch at CFA then drove home and went to swim class.

Brunch, swimming at Deep Eddy and later on a really fun chef’s tasting meal at Barley Swine.  Happy Birthday, Carrie!  

After a swim at my parents house I headed in to Austin to grocery shop and then meet Jean to set up everything for Carrie’s surprise party!  And she was surprised!  I wish I’d taken pictures when she came in to the house!  Such a fun time.

Today we drove to Round Rock and Grandpa had set up this amazing bouncy water slide! Bubbles are always the best.  Thanks, Mormor! Coming in for dinner Carson tripped on his towel and met the concrete patio face first.  You can’t see it well here, but he had a nice bump and scratch.

Pool day with baby Ella. We were the only people at our friend’s neighborhood pool today.  They had a small water slide that I had some trouble convincing Carson to try out.  Once he tried it once, though, it was hard to get him to stop!

Today we met up with a friend from pre-k and went to the Fort Bend children’s museum, which is so great!  It’s similar to the children’s museum in Houston, but it’s a mere 10 minutes from our house, has free parking, and is more compact making is easier to keep track of kids!      … [Read more…]

Today Christopher won “instant winner” on buddy bucks, but he couldn’t have cared less.  He kept trying to put the ticket back in to the machine because all he really cares about is pushing the button.
