Today we took a family bike ride to the elementary school Carson will go to next year. We played on the playground for a while and everyone had a great time. That afternoon Ben told me to go get a massage, so I did. That night Ben grilled steaks for dinner. A good day.
Going in to a state of semi-quarantine thanks to the HFM made for an interesting day. But at least the weather was nice and we have popsicles.
Today was the mother’s day picnic at school for Carson’s class. They sang songs, gave the moms a card and gift and served us desserts they’d made. It was very sweet. The ever affectionate Christopher! He is becoming more and more of a clown and I love it…most of the time :)
They were throwing their stiffed animals around outside. They asked me to throw bunny. I did. She got stuck in the tree. Carson grabbed his rake and a chair and rescued her.
Ben has been on a mission to install speakers outside so that we can listen to the same music inside and out and also watch and listen to the TV (mainly for sports purposes!) from the patio. For my friend Meagan’s birthday we went out with some ladies and had lunch, coffee, cupcakes, did some shopping and got pedicures. It was such a treat. Thanks to Ben (and the other dads!) for staying with the kids!
