Our Wedding Party
Carrie's Bridesmaids

Sarah Sundbeck, Maid of Honor
Sarah is the youngest of the four Sundbeck girls. After finishing her freshman year of college at Trinity College in Deerfield Illinois, Sarah transferred to A&M and is now majoring in history while pursuing her dream of becoming a documentary film maker. Sarah is my source for new music and an incredible friend.

Lindsey Pershern
Lindsey and her husband Scott live in Houston where she is doing her residency in psychiatry at Baylor. Lindsey is the only Longhorn out of the girls, but we love her anyway. She and I rarely get together without cooking or baking, or at least looking through cook books and magazines.

Lisa Sundbeck
Lisa is the first daughter in the Sundbeck family. Lisa remained in New York City after graduating from Columbia to work at Davis, Brady Bond, an architecture firm in SoHo. I don't see Lisa nearly as often as I'd like to, but I always love the time we do spend together. She is a dangerously fun shopping partner.

Claire Zinnecker
Claire is Ben's younger sister. She is a freshman at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Interior Design. I've never seen Claire look less than wonderful, and I envy her stylish wardrobe! She is an incredible person, and I look forward to having her as my sister.

Kim Condra
I've known Kim since my second week at A&M. We met in Doulos, a freshman Bible study through Grace Bible Church. The first night we met we cried together about being homesick and breaking up with high school boyfriends. Since then we have been best friends and are spending our last year of college as roommates. Kim was the first person I told about my first date with Ben. She has always been an encouraging, supportive and consistent friend.

Jennifer Fling
I met Jennifer when she moved in with Kim the second semester of our freshman year. Some of my best memories from my time in college include Jennifer and Kim. Jennifer and I bonded immediately and struggled through freshman biology together. I can't imagine my college experience without her.
Ben's Groomsmen

Scott Hubley, Best Man
Scott and Ben met in a freshman-level history class and lived together from the beginning of their sophomore year until graduation. Through it all, they and their cohorts (you know who you are, Carrie, Candace, Kolby, Rebecca, Jennifer, Kim, Andrew, Nate, Brittany, Jason, Michael, Becca, Kelly, Sarah, Katy, Jonathan, Lane, Danny, Kat, etc.) enjoyed countless (mis-)adventures together, including a marathon, many nights at the Fox and Hound and at home with friends, a cat-smashing bike ride, concerts all over the state, cookouts on the back patio, Sunday afternoons on the slackline, Saturday afternoons raking leaves and watching football, runs with tireless Blue, and the list goes on and on. Scott is engaged to Jennifer Fling, living in College Station and getting a Masters in Civil Engineering.

Matthew Bates
Matthew and Ben met in their eighth grade year at Regents, Matthew having just moved from the boomtown of Bartlesville, OK. They went to school together through high school, goofing off and generally avoiding any kind of schoolwork. They kept in touch through college and even worked together for one summer at Camp Redcloud. Matthew is currently living in Waco, working at Baylor until the fall, when he will pursue his Masters in Sports Management.

Ian Grooms
Ian and Ben also met in Regents, in sixth grade. After J.P. Flack left Regents in the Spring Semester, Ian and Ben were the only guys in their class until Matthew Bates came on the scene in eighth grade. It was originally Ian who introduced Ben to First Evangelical Free Church, where Carrie and Ben first met and where they are getting married. Ian is currently living in Boulder, Colorado, working on his Masters in Applied Mathematics.

Zach Hubby
Zach Hubby: the man, the myth, the legend. Ben met Zach as a sophomore in high school, and Ben, Zach, and David Phillips played six-man football together through high school. Do you have any chicken chimichangasssssssss? Zach is currently pursuing a degree in International Business and acing statistics tests at the University of Texas at Austin.

Scott Pershern
Scott is Ben's brother-in-law, married to Lindsey Pershern. Ben and Scott originally met at a raucous New Year's Eve party hosted by the two at their house in San Antonio. Scott is also a former Aggie as well as a law school slave, currently attending University of Houston School of Law. He hopes to pursue a career in patent law.

David Phillips
Ben and David also met in Ben's eighth grade year. Eventually the Phillipses moved down the street from the Zinneckers, and much havoc was wreaked (he'll fill; he's tall). After a few ski trips together, Ben wanted to settle down, but David would have none of it. He is currently living in Austin and getting ready to start at St. Mary's School of Law.
